I am a sucker for good piano music. Chris Rice has 2 albums that are solely him playing the piano. The Living Room Sessions: Christmas is full of incredible piano versions of religious Christmas songs....Silent Night, The First Noel, Joy To The World. All of the songs are amazing, but I am drawn to O Come All Ye Faithful. It's actually the first one I learned to play after I got the piano music that goes with the CD. Nothing quite like playing Christmas music on the piano with all the lights off...except, of course, for the twinkling lights of the tree, or in my case, the trees, and the garland on the piano!

Little Drummer Boy

I know all these guys (and gal) from my days at SUMC. One Christmas Eve, they did their version of Little Drummer Boy. Let me first say that I am just not a fan of this song in its original version....don't know why...it's just never been a favorite. But their version is anything but ordinary...it's a little bit of folk, a little bit of rock, and a whole lot of amazing! I think you can get it on iTunes (maybe)...but if not, you'll just have to trust me that it is amazing!
