I somehow missed getting the "Cover Letter That Writes Itself" software program on my laptop. Cover letters do not write themselves. I have been staring at my laptop screen for a good 45 minutes and have only managed to rearrange everything I wrote yesterday and maybe add a word or a comma here and there.
It's not easy to talk about how wonderful and great I am in hopes that I will beat out the ump-teen other people for the job. I mean, I really, really, really want the job...and if it means I have to brag on myself...then let the bragging begin!
On the other hand, in the past 45 minutes I have managed to check Facebook no less than 18 times, play with George, pick up the paperclips in the desk drawer, write this blog, and watch 7 cars narrowly miss knocking over my mailbox and the stop sign. It's like watching an out of control game of pinball!
Okay...back to work....my new mantra....cover letter must be finished today, cover letter must be finished today, cover letter must be finished today...you get the drift.
I'm off....to talk about how incredibly awesome I am!
